Adult Immunization: It’s Your Best Shot!
CAIC promotes this national observance by developing and adopting materials and resources that immunization stakeholders can use and distribute.
The 2007 CAIC NAIAW Planning Committee has screened and collected tools that you can use to promote awareness of adult immunizations during NAIAW 2007. The committee has also developed a series of customizable tools, including:
- Two fully scripted and CME ready slide presentations that provide a comprehensive review of adult immunization.
- A variety of tools for use with different audiences.
- Customizable media tools, including adaptable Templates for Opinion/Editorial submissions, Media Talking Points, and Press Releases .
- A set of materials local stakeholders can use to promote Healthcare Worker vaccination.
- A list of additional resources available on the web.
To promote awareness across California, the Planning Committee has released its Press Release to major English and Spanish-language media outlets – though we encourage you to use the enclosed media tools to contact media outlets near you. Getting the message out multiple times can encourage media coverage and the media may be more inclined to respond when they hear from you, a trusted local source.
To support our work, please cite CAIC as a supporter of your adult immunization efforts. We encourage you to use our logo to co-brand your NAIAW materials but if you do so, we ask that you let us know how you are using it, by completing the attached Logo Agreement Form.
